Blast Kills 2 Civilians in Eastern Afghanistan VOA News 19 August 2010 NATO says two civilians have been killed in a fuel truck explosion in eastern Afghanistan. Thursday's blast in Nangarhar province also wounded at least three people and damaged shops and vehicles nearby. NATO says the explosion was likely triggered by an improvised explosive device. Another NATO operation in Kunar province killed three insurgents. NATO said Afghan and coalition forces were pursuing commanders of the insurgent group Jama'at ul Dawa al-Qu'ran. It says the group is linked to attacks that killed two U.S. service members.
