US President Barack Obama talks to reporters at the White House, 16 Jun
2009President Barak Obama says he has deep concerns about Iran's
election, and he thinks the world has deep concerns as well. In remarks
at the White House Tuesday, Mr. Obama said he stands strongly with the
universal principle that peoples' voices should be heard and not
oppressed. President Obama said his hope is that the Iranian people will
make the right steps in order for them to express their voices and
aspirations. Mr. Obama said "how that plays out is for the Iranian
people to decide."
