The Pakistani military said Sunday the battle took place in the Darwazgai section of the Mohmand tribal region. Officials say one soldier was also killed in the fighting. Mohmand is just south of the Bajur tribal region, where Pakistani forces have been involved in ongoing battles with Taliban and al-Qaida-linked militants.
