Suicide Bomber Kills 2 People at Pakistan Press Club

   Pakistani  officials say a suicide bomber has blown himself up outside
   a  press  club  in the northwestern city of Peshawar, killing at least
   two people.
   Officials  say  the  bomber wanted to enter the press building but was
   stopped by a policeman at the gate, where he detonated his explosives.
   One the two people killed by Tuesday's blast was a policeman. At least
   four people were wounded.
   It  was the first attack against a media target in Peshawar, which has
   experienced  frequent  bombings  in recent months. Militants have been
   intensifying  attacks  across Pakistan in revenge for a Pakistani army
   offensive against Taliban strongholds in the country's northwest.
