Officials say the bomber wanted to enter the press building but was stopped by a policeman at the gate, where he detonated his explosives. One the two people killed by Tuesday's blast was a policeman. At least four people were wounded. It was the first attack against a media target in Peshawar, which has experienced frequent bombings in recent months. Militants have been intensifying attacks across Pakistan in revenge for a Pakistani army offensive against Taliban strongholds in the country's northwest.
