Iraqi police say a series of six car bombings across Baghdad Monday
killed at least 32 people and wounded more than 65. The deadliest attack
occurred in the capital's Sadr City neighborhood where officials say an
explosion killed at least 10 people and wounded 28 others. Another car
bomb exploded near a group of day laborers in central Baghdad, killing
six people and wounding 16 others. A bomb targeting the convoy of an
Interior Ministry official killed two people and wounded several others
in eastern Baghdad. A fourth bombing in the capital killed at least two
people. Hours after the fourth explosion, two blasts shook Baghdad's Um
al-Maalif area, killing 12 people and wounding more than 25 others.
