Little-known group called "Indian Mujahedin" claimed responsibility for
Ahmedabad bombings in e-mail sent to local media minutes before blasts
began 
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has visited a hospital in Ahmedabad
targeted in a series of bombings that killed 45 people. Under heavy
security, Mr. Singh and the leader of India's governing Congress party,
Sonia Gandhi, visited Monday with wounded survivors of Saturday's
blasts. Indian National Security Guard soldiers collect evidence from
one of the blast sites in Ahmadabad, India, 27 Jul 2008Sixteen bombs
exploded across the western city in a coordinated attack that wounded at
least 160 people.No arrests have been made, but police have detained
about 30 people for questioning.A little-known group called the "Indian
Mujahedin" claimed responsibility for the bombings in an e-mail sent to
local media minutes before the blasts began.Indian police have raided
the Mumbai home of a U.S. citizen, whose computer is suspected of being
the origin of the e-mail. It is unclear if the American is a suspect.In
the e-mail, the Indian Mujahedin said it carried out the Ahmedabad atta!
 ck to take revenge for Gujarat. It was an apparent reference to
sectarian riots that left more than a thousand Muslims dead in the city
of Gujarat six years ago.United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
has condemned the bombings and appealed for restraint.Some information
