organization and attempting to overthrow government 
A Turkish prosecutor has filed an indictment against 86 people alleged
to be involved in plots to overthrow the government.Istanbul chief

14 Jul 2008Prosecutor Aykut Gengiz Engin announced the indictments
Monday in Istanbul. He said the defendants have been charged with either
forming or being a member of a terrorist organization and attempting to
overthrow the government. There are reports that former army officials
and journalists are among the defendants.The suspects were detained as
part of a probe into an alleged hard-line secularist group, known as
Ergenekon. Last week, authorities arrested two retired Turkish generals
in connection with the investigation.
