Israel Continues Airstrikes in Gaza

but no deaths The Israeli military has carried out more air strikes on
Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip amid continuing rocket attacks on
Israel.

Palestinian medics say at least four people were killed and several
others wounded in one Israeli air strike east of Gaza City early
Friday.

Witnesses say three of the dead were Hamas militants.

On Thursday, at least six Palestinians were killed in Israeli air
strikes. Israeli tanks also crossed into Gaza.

Meanwhile, Palestinian factional fighting between Hamas and Fatah in
the Gaza Strip continued for a sixth day Friday.

More than 45 people have been killed since the latest round of
factional clashes broke out Sunday.

The fighting is threatening to bring down the fragile unity government
of Hamas and Fatah.
