His meeting Saturday with UAE President Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan and other officials is part of his tour of the Middle East to seek support in stabilizing Iraq. Friday, Cheney also said the United States and other nations will stand together to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons and dominating the Middle East. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is about to visit Abu Dhabi. The vice president issued the warning in an address to sailors aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf near the United Arab Emirates. Iran denies it is trying to develop nuclear weapons. Cheney also said the United States wants to complete its mission in Iraq, and in his words, "get it done right" and have the troops return home with honor. Cheney Saturday traveled on to Saudi Arabia.  Saudi King Abdullah recently called the U.S. presence in Iraq an illegal foreign occupation.
