Officials said Monday the 20-year-old woman is from East Java province. Bird flu has killed 63 people in Indonesia - more than in any other country. Meanwhile, Burma's official newspaper says experts have confirmed an outbreak of the H5N1 bird flu virus in two Burmese townships. The New Light of Myanmar says the virus was detected last month on farms in Mayangon and Hlinethaya. Authorities have sprayed the area with pesticide to prevent the disease from spreading. The newspaper says experts from the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization confirmed the outbreak last week using bacteria samples from dead chickens. Bird flu mainly affects poultry and has forced farmers to slaughter millions of birds in recent years. The disease has also killed 168 people since late 2003. Most of the victims contracted the virus from infected birds. Some information for this report was provided by AFP, AP and Reuters. .
