In the deadliest incident, four soldiers were killed and an Iraqi interpreter wounded when a bomb exploded near their vehicle northwest of Baghdad. Roadside bombs and small arms fire claimed the lives of four other troops in and around Baghdad. A roadside bomb killed an airman in Tikrit. The military says two soldiers died of non-combat-related injuries. In other news, the military says coalition forces Sunday killed four terrorists and detained 14 suspected insurgents in raids in Baghdad, west of Taji, and south of Hawija. Separately, two Sunni Arab political blocs boycotted parliament today, saying they will not return until ousted speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, a Sunni, is reinstated. The parliament voted earlier this month to remove Mashhadani, with lawmakers accusing him of rude behavior. Iraqi legistators on Saturday extended parliament's current session until the end of July.
