The deaths Monday occurred as government forces continued shelling Fatah al-Islam militant positions at the Narh al-Bared refugee camp in northern Lebanon, near Tripoli. The month of fighting at the camp has left more than 130 people dead, including 71 Lebanese soldiers. Meanwhile, in southern Lebanon, soldiers and United Nations peacekeepers patrolled near the Israeli border after rockets fired from Lebanon hit Israel Sunday. At least two rockets landed in Kiryat Shmona in the first cross-border rocket attack since last year's war between Israel and Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. Hezbollah denied responsibility for Sunday's attack, which caused no injuries. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called the rocket attack "very disturbing." The U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon says the rocket attack is "a serious breach" of the ceasefire that ended Israel's 34-day war against Hezbollah last August. Hezbollah guerrillas fired thousands of rockets into Israel during the war. Some information for this report was provided by AFP and Reuters. .
