Officials say they decided Wednesday to formally request a U.N. probe into last month's rocket attack on Mr. Soro's plane as it landed in the Ivorian city of Bouake. Mr. Soro escaped unharmed from the June 20 attack, but four of his aides were killed. Officials say several people have been arrested in connection with the violence. Mr. Soro is a former rebel leader. He was sworn in as Ivory Coast's prime minister in April. Mr. Soro and Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo signed an agreement in March to re-start the stalled peace process between rebels in the north and the government in the south.
