Brazilian authorities say all of the 155 people aboard a passenger jet
that crashed in the country's remote Amazon jungle Friday were killed.

Air force officials say troops searching the wreckage have recovered
the first two bodies, and report no signs of survivors. Troops are
still looking for flight data recorders.

Officials believe the Gol Airlines Boeing 737-800 clipped a business
jet before it plunged nose-first into the dense northern jungle,
about 1,000 kilometers northwest of Rio de Janeiro. The smaller
aircraft made an emergency landing, and no one aboard was injured.

Authorities say the Gol Airlines crash is the worst air disaster in
Brazilian history.

Sunday, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva declared three days of
national mourning.

The Gol flight originated in the city of Manaus and was bound for the
capital, Brasilia, when it crashed.
