Afghan police officer stands next to body of suicide bomber wrapped in
plastic sheet, Monday Officials in Kabul say a suicide bomber blew
himself up next to a NATO convoy in the Afghan capital Monday,
wounding three soldiers and three civilians.

A NATO spokesman says the three troops received minor wounds. He did
not reveal their nationality.

The attack occurred on a busy road frequently used by troops in the
capital.

The bombing came two days after another suicide attack near the Afghan
Ministry of Interior, killing 13 people.

President Hamid Karzai condemned Saturday's attack and called on the
international community to assist Afghanistan in its efforts to shut
down sanctuaries where extremists are trained.
