Palestinians say the intelligence officer Ali Jabarin was killed when Israeli tanks and troops encircled Palestinian security headquarters in Jenin, in a hunt for wanted militants. Israeli radio says Israeli forces killed two suspected militants in a separate shootout in the nearby village of Qabatiyeh.  The report said the two brothers were members of the militant Palestinian Islamic Jihad group. Meanwhile, Israel says an American teenager wounded April 17 in a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv has died.  The youth is the 11th fatality in the bombing, which has been linked to Islamic Jihad. In another development, Israel's Supreme Court has upheld a controversial law that restricts West Bank Palestinians from living with relatives in Israel. The law says only Palestinian women over the age of 25 and men over 35 are eligible to join their families in Israel and eventually receive citizenship. Critics have called the law racist and have demanded its repeal.  The Israeli government says the law is aimed at boosting security inside Israel.
