Relatives of Passengers of Egyptian Ship Tangle with Riot Police ---------------------------------------------------------------- http://enews.voanews.com/t?ctl=10D56F3:3919ACA Survivors blame ship's crew for continuing voyage even after fire broke out on board Angry relatives of passengers aboard the Egyptian ferry that sank in the Red Sea confronted riot police Saturday, as frustration builds over the lack of information about those missing from the disaster. Hundreds of relatives gathered at the Egyptian port of Safaga, where rows of armed police blocked access to the docks. Some relatives threw rocks, while police retaliated with tear gas. Man and child who were survivors of ferry sinking disembark Egyptian naval vessel used for rescue Survivors of the accident are blaming the ship's crew for continuing the voyage even after a fire broke out on board. They say the 35-year-old vessel Al-Salam Boccaccio 98 did not turn back when the blaze erupted about two hours after the ship left the Saudi port of Dubah late Thursday. Authorities say it is unclear if the fire caused the ship to sink. Rescue teams have found about 400 survivors and recovered nearly 200 bodies. The fate of at least 800 other people is still unknown.   Some information for this report was provided by AFP, AP and Reuters. .
