15, 2006At least nine Iraqis, including three school children, were
killed in separate insurgent attacks in Baghdad Wednesday.

Officials say the children, who were on their way to school, were
killed when a roadside bomb went off in a central Baghdad
neighborhood. The blast also damaged several shops in the area.

In a southern part of the city, gunmen fatally shot a police captain
and his driver as they were heading to work.

And, four policeman were killed in a car bomb blast elsewhere in Iraqi
capital. Several other people, including at a least two policemen,
were wounded in that attack.
