Newspaper Says Lebanon Foiled Plot to Kill Hezbollah Chief

the nine suspects are believed to have monitored the movements of
Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah for the past nine months.

The newspaper says the planned assassination was set to take place on
April 28, when the sheikh was expected to attend a round of national
political talks with Lebanese leaders in Beirut.

Authorities are quoted as saying the arrests yielded a large cache of
weapons, including anti-tank rockets, hand grenades and assault
rifles.
