Chinese officials say thousands of homes collapsed when the magnitude
5.7 quake struck Saturday morning in Jiangxi province's Ruichang city.

Authorities there are still assessing the damage, and China's official
Xinhua news agency says relief teams are being sent to the region.
Ruichang city is home to around 420,000 people.
