Speaking Sunday in the Jordanian capital, the king said the woman was the wife of another attacker and she had failed to detonate her own explosive device. Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister Marwan al-Muasher said the woman is the sister of a lieutenant of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian militant who heads the terrorist group al-Qaida in Iraq.
