Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister Marwan al-Muasher said Saturday, three non-Jordanians carried out the Amman hotel bombings. He says no women appear to have been involved in the attacks, disputing a claim attributed to al-Qaida in Iraq that a husband and wife were among four attackers. The death toll from Wednesday's blasts rose to 57 Friday when Arab-American movie producer Mustafa Akkad died from his wounds. He is one of three Americans killed in the blast. Most of the dead were Jordanians attending wedding parties at the targeted hotels. Some information for this report provided by AFP, AP and Reuters. .
