Western news agencies have identified the silent video as the first new footage of Saddam in nearly a year, and say it was recorded Sunday. However, one member of Saddam's defense team told the French news agency no defense lawyers were present during the questioning. Another defense attorney, Giovanni Di Stefano, told the Cable News Network he believed the video was shot last July. Iraqi leaders have said they want to try Saddam in the next few months for alleged genocide and crimes against humanity. However, no charges have been filed, and Mr. Di Stefano said a trial that soon would be impossible. Meanwhile, Iraqi officials say gunmen killed four policemen and wounded 10 others on a road linking Baghdad and Baquba.   .
