Early reports from the Iranian capital say all on board the plane were
killed, along with at least 25 people on the ground.

Authorities say the plane struck a 10-story apartment building - home
to several hundred people - while trying to make an emergency landing
at Tehran's Mehrabad airport.

The aircraft is reported to have developed technical problems shortly
after taking off from the same airport on a flight to the southern
port city of Bandar Abbas.
