Musharraf Visits India for Talks on Kashmir

Pakistani leader expected to hold at least three meetings with Indian
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf is
in India for talks that will include the dispute over Kashmir. He also
plans to watch a cricket match between the two long-time rival
neighbors.

northern Indian city of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan state. He planned
to travel to Ajmer city to worship at a Muslim shrine before flying to
New Delhi.

The Pakistani leader is expected to hold at least three meetings with
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. President Musharraf will also
watch a cricket match between the two country's national teams and
meet political leaders from the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir
during his two-day visit.

The Press Trust of India quotes General Musharraf as saying "the sky
is the limit" for improved ties between India and Pakistan. But
neither side has expressed any expectations the visit will result in
major progress toward settling the Kashmir dispute.
