Funeral services for Monaco's Prince Rainier, ruler of the tiny Mediterranean principality for 56 years, are now under way in a chapel at his palace. The 81-year-old prince, who died nine days ago, will be buried in Monaco's cathedral next to his wife, the American film star Grace Kelly. Princess Grace, who gave up her Hollywood career to marry the prince in 1956, died in a car crash in 1982. Representatives of scores of countries are at Prince Rainier's funeral, including King Juan Carlos of Spain, Britain's Prince Andrew and an American delegation headed by former Navy Secretary John Lehman, who was Princess Grace's cousin.
