Schmitz Econ Technologies has released [1]ChronoAgent 1.5, the synchronization and backup utility that works with Econ's ChronoSync app to provide direct connectivity to a remote Mac. The update brings the capability to back up or sync over the Internet using the new WAN Access panel, and ChronoAgent can automatically configure the port-mapping functionality of your router. ChronoAgent 1.5 includes a built-in Dynamic DNS client that can connect to several popular services. Additionally, icons and supplemental artwork have been optimized for Retina displays, Notification Center support has been added, and you can limit ChronoAgent's access to files by specifying a white list of available volumes. Version 1.5 also features a redesigned user interface and now requires a 64-bit Intel processor and OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion or later.
