Schmitz VMware has updated its popular virtualization package VMware Fusion (both [1]standard and [2]Professional editions) to version 7.1.1 with the capability to edit Processors & Memory settings for a restricted virtual machine without entering the restrictions password for the virtual machine. Version 7.1.1 also fixes crashes associated when running Outlook 2010 in Unity mode and the Bloomberg financial application, fixes failures with the Command-G keyboard shortcut, and resolves issues with full screen mode on systems with some three-monitor configurations. There are several known issues to be aware of in version 7.1.1, including a failure for a Mac to wake up and a repeated message that some Windows applications were being opened for the first time when running VMware Fusion on OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite or later. Be sure to check the [3]release notes for these known issues and recommended workarounds.
