Trump to Meet with Congressional Leaders to Avert Government Shutdown
---------------------------------------------------------------------

President Trump is expected to meet with four top congressional leaders
at the White House today to prevent a government shutdown. Congress has
until Tuesday to fund the government with a spending measure that would
garner 60 votes in the Senate. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are calling for funding to extend
subsidies for the Affordable Care Act and to reverse cuts to Medicaid
and other health programs that Republicans recently cut.
