California Passes Bill Banning Law Enforcement from Wearing Masks

In California, Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a law banning law
enforcement, including ICE, from wearing masks. Tricia Mc Laughlin,
Homeland Security assistant secretary for public affairs, said, "a
sanctuary politician is trying to outlaw officers wearing masks to
protect themselves from being doxxed and targeted by known and suspected
terrorist sympathizers." Bill Essayli, acting U.S. attorney for Southern
California, said on social media, "our agents will continue to protect
their identities."
