Colombian Senator Shot During Campaign Rally in Bogotá

In news from Colombia, Senator Miguel Uribe was shot and seriously
injured during a campaign rally in Bogotá on Saturday. Uribe is a member
of the right-wing Democratic Center party and is running for president
in the 2026 election. He is the grandson of former Colombian President
Julio César Turbay Ayala.
