Supreme Court Tosses Mexico Lawsuit Against U.S. Gun Manufacturers

The U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously rejected a $10 billion lawsuit by
the Mexican government against U.S. gun manufacturers. Mexico had
accused Smith & Wesson, Colt, Glock and other companies of fueling
violence in Mexico by knowingly allowing its guns to be smuggled into
the hands of drug cartels. The court ruled that gunmakers are shielded
from liability under U.S. law.
