Supreme Court Sides with South Carolina in Campaign to Defund Planned Parenthood

In a 6-3 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court has sided with South Carolina to
defund Planned Parenthood by removing its health clinics from the
state's Medicaid program. Writing for the dissent, Justice Ketanji Brown
Jackson said the ruling is "likely to result in tangible harm to real
people." She added, "It will strip those South Carolinians - and
countless other Medicaid recipients around the country - of a deeply
personal freedom: the ability to decide who treats us at our most
vulnerable."
