12 Killed in Border Clashes Between Thailand and Cambodia

At least 12 people, including two children, have been killed in clashes
along the border separating Thailand from Cambodia. In response,
Thailand closed border crossings and relocated 40,000 civilians, while
Cambodia downgraded its ties to Thailand. The Thai-Cambodia border has
been disputed for nearly a century, resulting from France's colonization
of the region.
