U.S. and Philippines Strike Trade Deal, Announce Expanded Military Ties

President Trump announced a trade deal with the Philippines on Tuesday
after meeting with the country's president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., at the
White House. Under the deal, the U.S. will impose a 19% tariff on all
imports from the Philippines. Marcos also met with Defense Secretary
Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon to discuss expanding military ties between
the two countries.
