Washington Post Lays Off 4% of Workforce Following Reader Exodus over Harris Non-Endorsement

The Washington Post announced Tuesday it will lay off 4% of its
workforce, or nearly 100 people. The layoffs come just weeks after the
Post's billionaire owner Jeff Bezos blocked an endorsement of Vice
President Kamala Harris ahead of the November election. By The
Washington Post's own count, Bezos's decision prompted 250,000 readers
to cancel their subscriptions in protest.
