Senate Confirms Climate Denier Sean Duffy as Transportation Secretary

The Senate has confirmed Sean Duffy as secretary of transportation on a
vote of 77 to 22. Duffy is a former reality TV star, climate denier and
four-term Republican congressmember from Wisconsin who's worked as a
lobbyist since resigning from Congress in 2019. As his first official
act, Duffy moved to roll back the Biden administration's fuel efficiency
standards for new cars and trucks.
