Senate Votes 99-0 to Confirm Marco Rubio as Secretary of State

On Monday, the Senate unanimously confirmed Marco Rubio as the new
secretary of state and Trump's first Cabinet member. He is the first
Latino to hold the top diplomatic post. Rubio is a staunch supporter of
Israel, defending its devastating assault on Gaza during his
confirmation hearing last week. He also repeatedly touted his hawkish
position toward China, which has imposed sanctions against Rubio.
