Five Arrested After Trans Man Found Dead Following "Repeated Acts of Violence & Torture"

In western New York, police have arrested five people in connection to
the murder of a transgender man named Sam Nordquist, who had recently
been reported missing. Police said Sam was "subjected to repeated acts
of violence and torture" prior to his death. The group the NEW Pride
Agenda condemned his killing, saying it was a "tragic consequence of the
rising culture of hate in our society."
