Sonya Massey's Family and Illinois County Agree to $10 Million Settlement

The family of Sonya Massey, a Black woman who was fatally shot in her
kitchen by a sheriff's deputy, has been awarded a $10 million settlement
by Sangamon County in Illinois. Massey had called 911 because she was
concerned over a potential prowler.
