Spain Asks for Help Battling Raging Wildfires

Spain's government has formally asked its European neighbors to help
fight dozens of raging wildfires that have burned homes, farms and
factories, forcing thousands to evacuate. The request for firefighting
resources comes amid a searing summer heat wave that's led to "extreme"
or "very extreme" fire danger forecasts across much of southern Europe.
