84% of World's Coral Reefs Suffer Largest-Ever Bleaching Event

The worst-ever recorded event of coral bleaching has spread to 84% of
the world's reefs. The bleaching, brought about by global heating,
seriously threatens oceanic biodiversity and could lead to the death of
vital underwater ecosystems.
