Pakistan Expels 80,000 Afghans in Contested New Policy
------------------------------------------------------

Pakistan has expelled some 80,000 Afghans ahead of an end-of-April
deadline set by Pakistani authorities. Two million more Afghans who have
taken refuge in Pakistan are expected to cross back into Afghanistan in
the coming months in a policy that's been sharply criticized by aid
groups as Afghanistan faces a dire humanitarian and human rights
situation.
