New Group of Immigrants Threatened with Removal Under Contested Wartime Act

ACLU immigration attorney Lee Gelernt has confirmed that a group of
Venezuelan immigrants currently jailed at the Bluebonnet ICE detention
center in Texas was told they are at risk of also being expelled from
the United States under the controversial Alien Enemies Act of 1798,
despite the ongoing legal challenges against its use.
