Puerto Rico's Energy Grid Collapses for Second Time in Four Months

In Puerto Rico, the LUMA Energy corporation says it could take up to
three days to restore electricity after the island's energy grid
collapsed Wednesday, plunging the entire U.S. territory into darkness
for the second time in four months. It's the latest in a series of
blackouts since Puerto Rico privatized its electrical grid in the wake
of Hurricane Maria in 2017. Puerto Ricans pay some of the highest
electricity rates in the U.S. despite frequent outages.
