Floods in Spain Kill Dozens After a Month's Rain Falls Within 24 Hours

At least 51 people have been killed in regions across southern and
eastern Spain, including the region of Valencia, after torrential rains
triggered devastating floods, leaving entire roads and towns under
water. Officials said the death toll is likely to grow as search and
rescue efforts continue. More than a month's worth of rain fell in less
than 24 hours in some areas of southern and eastern Spain, with
authorities saying this is one of the worst natural disasters to hit
Spain in recent years.
