Socialists Win Catalan Elections in Major Blow to Independence Movement

In Spain, the ruling Socialist party won a majority of seats in Catalan
elections Sunday, in a major upset for the region's separatist movement.
If the Socialists can forge a ruling coalition with other parties, it
will be the first Catalan government in over a decade led by a party
which does not support independence.
