Sixth-Grader Dies in School Shooting in Perry, Iowa

In Iowa, a sixth-grade student died Thursday in a school shooting in the
town of Perry on the first day of classes after winter break. Five other
people were injured, including the school's principal. Police say the
gunman was a 17-year-old student who came to school armed with a
pump-action shotgun and a small-caliber handgun. Police say the shooter
died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
