South Korean Opposition Leader Stabbed

In South Korea, opposition leader Lee Jae-myung is recovering after
being stabbed in the neck while speaking to reporters in the city of
Busan. A 66-year-old suspect has been detained. Lee Jae-myung ran for
president in 2022 and narrowly lost to conservative Yoon Suk-yeol. Lee
is widely expected to run for president again in 2027.
