Biden Administration Condemns Israeli Plans for Settlement Expansion in Occupied West Bank
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Biden administration has spoken out against Israel's plan to build
3,000 new housing units in settlements in the occupied West Bank. In a
reversal of a policy put in place by Donald Trump, Secretary of State
Antony Blinken says the U.S. views settlement expansion as "inconsistent
with international law."

Secretary of State Antony Blinken: "New settlements are
counterproductive to reaching an enduring peace. They're also
inconsistent with international law."
